Ordering a VPS for a game server

Game server hosting on a VPS starts at €5.49/mo — 4 vCPU, 4 GB RAM, 50 GB NVMe and a dedicated IPv4. At checkout you choose a Linux or Windows image, install the OS yourself through the panel and the KVM console, deploy the server via SteamCMD and open the ports you need in your own firewall — there are no port or mod restrictions on the hosting side. The server is issued in a 5-hour trial mode: you pay after you have invited friends and checked the latency. Per-game setup guides: Minecraft, Rust, ARK, Valheim, CS2.

Plans

VPS plans for a game server

Light games and a small group run on the entry plan; heavy modded builds with high player counts need a plan with extra RAM headroom. Pay monthly, for 6 months (−10%) or for a year (−18%); 5-hour trial before payment.

What the plan includes

Dedicated vCPU on AMD EPYC, RAM, NVMe storage, unmetered traffic, one IPv4, a KVM console and 24/7 support.

2

Any game, any build

Minecraft, Rust, ARK, Valheim, CS and more: with root access you install any servers, mods and plugins.

3

Your ports and IP

You open ports yourself in the server firewall, and the server gets its own address — we impose no external port restrictions.

How to order and set up a server

Three steps — from placing the order to the first players joining.

1

Place the order

Choose the Standard 1 or Standard 2 plan, pick a billing period and an OS image — Ubuntu, Debian or Windows. Registration takes a couple of minutes.

2

Install the OS yourself

Through the panel and the KVM console you deploy the chosen system and get hardware-level access to the server.

3

Deploy the game and invite friends

Over SSH or RDP install the server via SteamCMD, connect mods, open the ports and hand out the IP to your players.

Not sure how much RAM to take

Not sure how much RAM to take

RAM rules of thumb: vanilla Minecraft for 20 players — 6 GB, modpacks and CS2 — 8 GB, Rust and ARK — from 16 GB. Per-game pages with details: Arma 3, Garry's Mod, Conan Exiles, DayZ.

Getting it wrong is not a problem: the plan upgrades to a bigger one with a short restart, and the world and configs stay in place.

Choose a plan, pick a billing period and an OS image, register — the server is created automatically. Payment comes after the trial, not before the order.

5 hours. That is enough to install the OS, deploy the build via SteamCMD and invite friends to check the latency — the configuration is the same as after payment.

You do, via SteamCMD or the build's installer. We provide a clean VPS with root access: the server contents, mods and rules are fully under your control.

In your own server's firewall — you are the full administrator. We impose no external port restrictions, and the server gets its own IPv4 address.

Yes, upload the server files over SSH or SFTP — worlds, configs and progress carry over. Support helps with the move if something will not start.

Monthly, 6 months at a 10% discount, and a year at an 18% discount. The discount also applies to renewals, not just the first period.

Yes, as your player count grows the plan switches to a bigger one with a short restart — vCPU, RAM and disk are added, no server reinstall needed.

Size it by the build's memory needs: 6 GB for vanilla Minecraft, 8 GB for a modpack or CS2, from 16 GB for Rust and ARK. Each game page on this site lists exact recommendations.
