Rust Server Hosting on a VPS — from €5.49/mo
Run your own Rust server in minutes — wipes, Oxide plugins and a custom map, with a 5-hour test period before payment
Launch a Rust server
A Rust VPS is a virtual server with full root access for your own Rust game server. You install the OS yourself, deploy the server via SteamCMD, add Oxide/uMod plugins and control wipes, map size and slots. Complete freedom over rules and modifications, with no hosting restrictions. Plans start at €5.49/mo, and a 5-hour test period lets you check ping and performance on your map before paying.

VPS for a Rust server
Standard 1 and Standard 2 shown here suit testing a build and a small map. Rust is demanding: 50 slots need 8 GB, and 100 slots need 16 GB and 10–12 vCPU (Power 1 or Power 2). Every VPS comes with a 5-hour test period before payment.

Oxide/uMod plugins
Add any Oxide/uMod plugins, configure kits, economy and events — the server runs by your rules.
Wipes and a custom map
Schedule wipes, generate your own map with the size and seed you want — root access gives full freedom.
Fast NVMe storage
Large Rust maps generate and load quickly — data sits on fast NVMe drives, so there is less lag.
How to launch a Rust server on a VPS
Choose an image and the OS
Pick a plan and a Linux or Windows image, then install the OS yourself on a KVM server — the configuration stays in your hands.
Install the Rust server
Deploy Rust Dedicated Server via SteamCMD, add Oxide/uMod and plugins, set the map size and wipe schedule.
Bring your players in
Open the ports and share the server address — players join the game while you manage the server through the panel and KVM console.
A server that runs by your rules
We will suggest the right plan for your map size and player count: how much RAM, how many vCPU and how much NVMe space to allow for the map and data.
We will also help with ports and scheduled wipes. Other games are collected on the game VPS page; neighbouring survival titles are the DayZ server and the Valheim server.

Yes. Root access lets you install Oxide/uMod and any plugins without restrictions — you fully control the server configuration.
Yes: copy the server folder and save files over SSH — player progress, buildings and plugin settings carry over. We will help with the migration.
Rust is one of the most demanding games: for 100 slots plan on 16 GB RAM and 10–12 vCPU, meaning Power 1 (€17.99) or Power 2 (€19.99). For 50 slots, 8 GB is enough.
You do, via SteamCMD. We provide a clean VPS with root access — the Rust configuration stays fully under your control.
Yes, Oxide/uMod installs like a regular add-on. Plugins add memory load — with a large set, pick a plan with 16 GB.
Generating a new map loads the CPU and disk: on NVMe it finishes noticeably faster than on a regular SSD. Allow 100 GB and up for the map and logs — that is Standard 4 and above.
It is hardware-level access to the server: install the OS, get in before the network is up, fix a broken configuration. It works even when SSH is unavailable.
Yes, root access lets you schedule wipes and set the map seed. We will help with basic wipe automation on your server.
